Open the Minecraft Launcher
Go to Installations
Select the profile you want to change
Click More Options
Find the JVM Arguments field
Locate the `-Xmx` value
Increase the number after `-Xmx` to set more RAM
Keep the value within your system’s available memory
Save the profile
Launch Minecraft using that profile
Close unnecessary background apps to free up memory
If using a modded launcher, adjust RAM in that launcher’s settings
If Minecraft crashes after increasing RAM, lower the amount and try again
