Open Bitdefender
Go to Protection
Select Antivirus
Open Settings
Turn off Bitdefender Shield
Confirm the action if prompted
If needed, disable other protection modules in the same way
To stop Bitdefender from starting with Windows, open Settings
Go to General
Turn off the option to start Bitdefender with Windows
To re-enable protection, turn the same options back on
