Press Win + X and select Device Manager
Expand Human Interface Devices
Right-click HID-compliant touch screen
Select Disable device
Confirm the prompt
To re-enable, right-click HID-compliant touch screen and select Enable device
If no touch screen entry appears, check under Human Interface Devices or Monitors
If needed, restart the PC after disabling the device
