Start on a new page titled Works Cited
Center the title at the top
Use the correct citation style required by your assignment
List sources in alphabetical order by the first author’s last name
If there is no author, alphabetize by the title
Use hanging indent format for each entry
Double-space the entire page
Include only sources you actually used in your paper
Match each in-text citation to a full source entry
Follow the required format for books, articles, websites, and other sources
Check spelling, punctuation, and capitalization carefully
Make sure the page is consistent and neatly formatted
