Press `Alt` + `0151` on the numeric keypad
In Microsoft Word, type `–` and let AutoCorrect convert it to an em dash
Open the Windows Character Map, find the em dash, and copy-paste it
Use the on-screen keyboard or a text expander if you have one set up
