How To Do Kick Counts?

Choose a time each day when your baby is usually active

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position

Focus on your baby’s movements

Count each kick, roll, swish, or jab as one movement

Count until you feel 10 movements

Note how long it takes to reach 10 movements

Repeat at the same time every day

Contact your healthcare provider if movements are much less than usual or you do not feel 10 movements in 2 hours
