How To Do Pooja On Dhanteras?

Clean the puja area and take a bath before starting

Place a clean cloth on the puja platform

Keep idols or pictures of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Dhanvantari

Place a kalash with water, mango leaves, and a coconut if available

Light a diya with ghee or oil

Keep flowers, roli, rice, incense, sweets, and fruits ready

Offer prayers to Lord Ganesha first

Worship Goddess Lakshmi with flowers, rice, roli, and sweets

Worship Lord Dhanvantari with devotion

Light the main diya for Dhanteras and keep it burning

Offer prasad to the deities

Recite Lakshmi and Dhanvantari mantras or prayers

Perform aarti with the family

Place new utensils, gold, silver, or business items near the puja area if purchased

Pray for health, wealth, and prosperity

Distribute prasad after the puja

Keep the diya lit in the evening near the entrance or puja place
