Open Google Maps on your phone
Make sure you are signed in to your Google account
Search for the area, city, or place you want to download
Tap the place name or address at the bottom of the screen
Tap the three dots or the menu icon
Select Download offline map
Adjust the map area if needed
Tap Download
Wait for the download to finish
Open Google Maps offline to use the downloaded map
