Insert the SD card into your PC
Open File Explorer
Confirm the SD card has a drive letter
Open the app or browser you use for downloads
Open the download settings
Change the default download location to a folder on the SD card
In Chrome, go to Settings > Downloads > Location > Change
In Edge, go to Settings > Downloads > Location > Change
In Firefox, go to Settings > General > Downloads > Save files to
In Windows apps, look for a save location or download path setting
When downloading a file, choose Save As
Select a folder on the SD card
Save the file
Check that the file appears on the SD card
Keep the SD card inserted while downloading
Use a fast SD card for better performance
Eject the SD card safely after downloads are complete
