How To Download Mail From Gmail?

Open Gmail in a web browser and sign in

Select the email or emails you want to download

Click the three-dot menu in the message toolbar

Choose Download message

Save the .eml file to your computer

To download attachments, open the email and click each attachment’s Download icon

To download all Gmail data, go to Google Takeout

Sign in to Google Takeout with your Gmail account

Select Mail

Choose the file type and delivery method

Click Create export

Download the exported archive when it is ready
