Open the official Minecraft website or the Minecraft Launcher
Sign in with your Microsoft account
Open the Minecraft Launcher
Select Minecraft: Java Edition or Minecraft for Windows
Open the Installations or Versions tab
Enable historical versions if needed
Select version 1.20
Click Install or Play
Wait for the download and installation to finish
Launch Minecraft 1.20 from the launcher
