Open the Messages app on your iPhone
Find the conversation you want to save
Press and hold a message if you want to copy a single text
Tap Copy
Open Notes, Files, or another app
Paste the text there
To save multiple messages, take screenshots of the conversation
To save an entire conversation, sync your iPhone to a Mac or PC and back up the device
On a Mac, use Messages and copy the conversation text
On a PC, use iTunes or Finder backup to preserve messages
Use third-party software designed to export iPhone texts
Check the app’s export options for PDF, CSV, or TXT formats
Make sure your iPhone is unlocked and connected if using a computer
Confirm you have enough storage before exporting or backing up
