Open WhatsApp and view the status video
Use your phone’s file manager to check the WhatsApp Status folder
On Android, look in Internal Storage > WhatsApp > Media > .Statuses
If the folder is hidden, enable hidden files in the file manager
Copy the video from the .Statuses folder to another folder
If the video is not saved there, use a screen recorder while viewing the status
On iPhone, use screen recording to capture the status video
Save the recorded video from your gallery or Photos app
Use a trusted status downloader app only if it is safe and allowed on your device
Ask the person who posted the status to send you the video directly
