Check your PC meets Windows 11 system requirements
Back up your files
Go to https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
Download the “Windows 11 Installation Assistant” or “Windows 11 Installation Media”
If using Installation Assistant: run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen prompts
If using Installation Media: choose “Create Windows 11 Installation Media,” select language/edition, then download the ISO or create a bootable USB using the tool
If installing from a downloaded ISO: mount the ISO and run setup.exe
Restart your PC when prompted
Follow the on-screen setup steps (choose language, edition, and install options)
Sign in with your Microsoft account when prompted (or choose an offline option if available)
Complete setup and check for updates in Settings > Windows Update
