Draw a large oval for the body
Draw a smaller circle or oval for the head
Add a curved line connecting the head and body for the neck
Sketch the muzzle extending from the head
Add two floppy ears on the sides of the head
Draw two small eyes
Draw a nose at the end of the muzzle

Sketch four legs under the body
Add rounded paws at the bottom of each leg

Refine the outline of the dog
Erase extra guide lines
Fill in the coat with black color
Add a small highlight in the eyes
Shade lightly to show form and depth
