Draw a long rectangle
Add a pointed tip at one end
Draw a small band near the opposite end
Add an eraser shape at the back
Sketch the wooden casing around the tip
Draw the graphite point inside the tip
Add a few straight lines for edges
Refine the outline
Erase extra guide lines
Add simple shading if desired
