Draw a horizontal oval shape for the book’s outer top edge
Add two slightly curved vertical lines downward from the center to form the open spine
Draw two mirrored page outlines on each side of the spine
Extend the outer edges of the pages outward and slightly upward
Add a second line inside each page to show thickness
Draw a curved line along the bottom to connect both sides of the book
Add page edges with short parallel lines near the outer sides
Sketch a few light curved lines on each page to suggest page layers
Darken the main outline of the book
Erase any unnecessary guide lines
