Draw a long, narrow horizontal rectangle for the ship’s main body
Round the front end slightly to form the bow
Taper the rear end to form the stern
Add a straight deck line along the top of the hull
Draw the upper deck structure as a long rectangular block above the hull
Add a second, smaller deck level on top of the first
Sketch four tall smokestacks evenly spaced along the top deck
Draw the bridge near the front of the upper structure
Add rows of small windows along the hull and deck
Sketch lifeboats along the upper sides of the ship
Add railings along the deck edges
Draw the anchor near the front side of the hull
Add a slight curve to the hull bottom for realism
Refine the ship’s outline and clean up extra lines
Shade the hull, decks, and smokestacks
Add water lines or waves beneath the ship if desired
