Draw a long, slightly curved stem
Add a second stem beside it
Sketch a narrow leaf near the lower part of each stem
Draw small oval grains along the upper part of the stem
Arrange the grains in alternating rows on both sides
Taper the top of the wheat head to a point
Add short lines connecting the grains to the stem
Repeat the grain pattern to make a fuller wheat head
Draw a few more stems for a small bundle
Darken the outlines and erase extra sketch lines
