How To Draw Wings?

Sketch the wing’s main shape with a light curved line for the top edge and a longer curved line for the bottom edge

Mark the shoulder or base where the wing attaches to the body

Divide the wing into sections for the upper arm, forearm, and hand area

Add the primary feather structure with long tapered shapes at the outer edge

Draw the secondary feathers closer to the body with shorter overlapping shapes

Layer the feathers so each row overlaps the one below it

Vary feather lengths to create a natural flow

Add smaller feathers near the base and larger feathers toward the tip

Refine the outer silhouette of the wing

Erase construction lines and clean up the edges

Add shading under overlapping feathers and along the base

Darken the deepest overlaps and the underside for depth

Add highlights on the upper surfaces of feathers

Repeat the same process for the other wing if needed

Adjust symmetry, angle, and proportion to match the pose
