Press the clutch fully
Start the engine in neutral
Select first gear on the 2-speed range selector if needed
Release the parking brake
Ease off the clutch while adding light throttle
Shift to the next gear with the clutch fully pressed
Move the range selector to the higher range when appropriate
Match engine speed before releasing the clutch
Keep shifts smooth and deliberate
Downshift before slowing too much
Stop the vehicle with the clutch pressed and transmission in neutral
Set the parking brake before shutting off the engine
