Open the app that contains the text
Tap the text field or text you want to edit
Tap and hold the text to bring up the menu
Drag the selection handles to highlight the text you want to change
Tap Cut, Copy, or Paste if needed
Type the new text using the keyboard
Tap outside the text field to finish editing
Use Undo if you make a mistake
Use Select All to edit the entire text at once
