Power off the device
Locate the SIM tray
Insert a SIM eject tool or a straightened paperclip into the tray hole
Gently press until the tray pops out
Pull the SIM tray out fully
Remove the SIM card from the tray
Reinsert the empty tray or tray with the SIM card
Power the device back on
