Open Minecraft
Start a new world or edit an existing world
Go to World Settings
Turn on Cheats
If creating a new world, set Allow Cheats to On
If in Java Edition, open the world to LAN and enable Cheats if needed
Save and enter the world
Use chat commands to confirm cheats are enabled
