Use a correction tape or correction fluid
Cover the pen mark with white-out and let it dry
Write over the corrected area once dry
Use a gel pen or opaque ink to cover small mistakes
Apply a pencil eraser only if the ink is erasable
Use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab for some inks
Use a specialized ink eraser for erasable pens
Replace the paper if the mark cannot be removed cleanly
