Mow the lawn short

Vacuum indoor areas and dispose of vacuum contents outside
Apply a yard insecticide labeled for fleas
Focus treatment on shaded, moist areas
Reapply according to label directions
Use beneficial nematodes in the yard
Keep wildlife and stray animals out of the yard
Seal crawl spaces and under-deck areas where animals nest
Water the lawn only as needed
Repeat treatments until flea activity stops
