Use Recovery Mode
Power off the phone
Press and hold the correct button combination for your device
Select Recovery Mode or Android Recovery
Use the volume buttons to highlight Wipe data/factory reset
Press the power button to confirm
Select Factory data reset or Yes
Wait for the reset to complete
Select Reboot system now
Use Find My Device
Go to Google Find My Device on another device
Sign in with the same Google account
Select the Android device
Choose Erase device
Confirm the erase
Use Samsung Find My Mobile
Go to Samsung Find My Mobile on another device
Sign in with the same Samsung account
Select the device
Choose Erase data
Confirm the reset
Use device-specific hardware buttons
Samsung: Power + Volume Up or Power + Volume Up + Bixby
Pixel: Power + Volume Down
Motorola: Power + Volume Down
OnePlus: Power + Volume Down
Xiaomi: Power + Volume Up
Remove the Google account after reset
Sign in with the previously synced Google account
Complete setup if Factory Reset Protection appears
Contact the manufacturer or carrier if you cannot access Recovery Mode or account recovery
