Power on the Nintendo Switch
Open System Settings from the HOME Menu
Scroll down and select System
Scroll to the bottom and select Formatting Options
Select Initialize Console
Read the warning message
Select Next
Select Initialize to confirm
Wait for the factory reset to complete
Set up the console again after it restarts
