Write the recipient’s full legal name on the “Pay to” or “Pay to the order of” line
Write your name on the “From,” “Purchaser,” or “Sender” line
Fill in your address if required
Write your account number or reference number if needed
Sign the money order only where the purchaser signature is required
Keep the receipt or stub for your records
Do not sign or fill out the back unless instructed by the recipient or payee
