Get a Powerball playslip or ticket from an authorized retailer
Select one number from 1 to 69 in each of the five white ball columns
Select one number from 1 to 26 in the red Powerball column
Mark the numbers clearly on the playslip
Choose whether to play the same numbers for multiple drawings if that option is available
Choose any add-on options if offered in your state, such as Power Play
Review your selections for accuracy
Submit the playslip or ticket to the retailer before the drawing cutoff time
Keep your ticket in a safe place until the drawing results are confirmed
