Check the charging case for the AirPods inside
Look for the lid hinge and the small LED status light
Search around where you last used them (couch, desk, backpack, pockets)
Use the Find My app on your iPhone/iPad
Open Find My and select your AirPods
Tap Directions to start locating the case nearby
If the case is out of range, use the last known location shown in Find My
If your AirPods are connected, play a sound from the AirPods in the case using Find My
Use Bluetooth to help locate if the AirPods are nearby and connected
Check for a lost-mode notification or updates in Find My
Verify the correct device name in Find My (your AirPods model name)
If you have multiple Apple devices, check Find My on each
Contact Apple Support if you still can’t locate them
