Open the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Tap Items
Select the AirTag
Tap Find Nearby if available
Follow the on-screen directions
Use Play Sound to make the AirTag beep
Check the last known location on the map
Look for the AirTag in common places like bags, pockets, cars, or furniture
If you have an iPhone with Precision Finding, follow the distance and direction prompts
If the AirTag is moving with you and not yours, check for an unknown AirTag alert
Tap the alert and follow the instructions to locate it
Remove the battery if you find an AirTag you do not own and need to disable it
