Open the Word document
Press Ctrl + H
Type the word or phrase you want to find in the Find what box
Type the new word or phrase in the Replace with box
Click Find Next to review each match
Click Replace to change one match at a time
Click Replace All to change every match in the document
Click More to access additional search options if needed
Use Match case if you want to find exact capitalization
Use Find whole words only if you want to replace only complete words
Click Close when finished
