Check your Apple ID account page for “Forgot Apple ID or password”
Go to https://iforgot.apple.com
Enter your Apple ID email address
Choose a recovery option (email, text message, or answering security questions if prompted)
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password
If you want to reset using a trusted device, use Settings on your iPhone/iPad: Settings → [your name] → Password & Security → Change Password (sign in if prompted)
If you use a Mac, reset via Apple menu: System Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Change Password (sign in if prompted)
If you can’t access your trusted phone number or email, use account recovery at https://iforgot.apple.com and wait for the recovery period
If you recently changed devices, sign in at https://appleid.apple.com and use the “Forgot password” flow
If you’re locked out, keep trying the recovery options at https://iforgot.apple.com until you regain access
