Open the Files app
Tap Browse
Tap On My iPhone or iCloud Drive
Open the Downloads folder
Check the Recents tab in the Files app
Use the Search bar in Files to find the file name
Check the app you used to download the file
Check Safari downloads by tapping the Downloads icon in Safari
Check the Photos app if the file is an image or video
Check the Mail app if the file was downloaded from an email attachment
