List all courses and their credit hours
Convert each letter grade to grade points using your school’s scale
Multiply each course’s grade points by its credit hours
Add all grade points earned
Add all credit hours attempted
Divide total grade points by total credit hours
Use the formula: GPA = total grade points ÷ total credit hours
Round the result if needed according to your school’s policy
