Click the Apple menu
Select System Settings
Click Wi-Fi or Network
Select your active connection
View the IP address listed in the details
Open Terminal
Type `ipconfig getifaddr en0` for Wi-Fi
Type `ipconfig getifaddr en1` if needed
Press Return to display the IP address
Open System Settings
Click Network
Select your connection
Click Details
Check the IP address under TCP/IP
Visit a website that shows your public IP address
Check your router’s connected devices list
