Press F3 on Java Edition to open the debug screen and view your coordinates
On Bedrock Edition, enable Show Coordinates in world settings or game settings
Look for the X, Y, and Z values on the screen
X shows east and west position
Y shows height
Z shows north and south position
On consoles and mobile, enable coordinates in the world settings if available
Use a map or compass only for general direction, not exact coordinates
Check your current position by standing still and reading the coordinate display
