Open the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Tap Devices
Select your AirPods from the list
Check the map for their last known location
Tap Play Sound if they are nearby
Use Find Nearby if you have AirPods Pro 2 or AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation
Follow the on-screen directions to locate them
Check the battery status in Find My
Look in places where you last used them
Search common spots like bags, pockets, couches, car seats, and charging areas
Check whether one AirPod is missing separately from the case
Use iCloud.com/find if you do not have the Find My app
Put your AirPods in Lost Mode if available
Mark them as lost in Find My
Retrace your steps if the location is outdated
Ask nearby people if they found them
Check with lost and found at places you visited
Reset and re-pair only after you are sure they are not recoverable
