On Windows, open Command Prompt and type `ipconfig`
On Windows, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Properties
On Mac, go to System Settings > Network and select your connection
On Mac, open Terminal and type `ifconfig`
On Linux, open Terminal and type `ip addr`
On Linux, open Terminal and type `hostname -I`
To find your public IP address, search “what is my IP” in a web browser
To find your router’s local IP address, check your network settings or run `ipconfig` / `ifconfig` / `ip addr`
