Open Snapchat
Tap the profile icon or Bitmoji in the top left
Tap Add Friends
Use the search bar to enter the person’s username or display name
Check the Quick Add list for suggested accounts
Tap Contacts to find people saved in your phone
Tap Snapcode to scan their Snapcode if you have it
Tap Add next to the correct account
If needed, ask the person for their exact username
Make sure your contacts are synced in Snapchat if you want to find phone contacts
