Open TikTok and tap the Search icon
Enter the person’s username, display name, or full name
Check the Users tab in the search results
Look for profile photos, bios, and mutual followers to confirm the right account
Search by phone contacts if the person has linked their number and you have contact sync enabled
Search by Facebook friends if your accounts are connected
Check comments, likes, or followers on mutual accounts
Search their other social media profiles for their TikTok handle
Use the exact username if you already know it
Try alternate spellings, nicknames, or previous usernames
Scan hashtags, sounds, or videos they may have posted or interacted with
Ask them directly for their TikTok handle
