Add all the numbers together.
Divide the total by how many numbers there are.
If the values repeat, multiply each value by its frequency, add the results, then divide by the total frequency.
For a data set: mean = (x₁ + x₂ + … + xₙ) / n.
For a frequency table: mean = (Σ(x · f)) / (Σ f).
