Select About This Mac
Read the computer name shown in the window
Open System Settings
Click General
Click About
Find the Name field
Open Finder
Click Go
Click Computer
Check the device name in the sidebar or window title
Open Terminal
Type scutil –get ComputerName
Press Return
Read the computer name shown in Terminal
