Open Gmail
Click the search bar at the top
Type `label:primary is:unread`
Press Enter
Review the unread emails in the Primary tab
To keep only unread Primary emails visible, use the search query `in:inbox label:primary is:unread`
If needed, click the Primary tab first, then use the search query above
