Turn off power at the circuit breaker
Confirm the ceiling box is rated for ceiling fan support
Gather the fan, mounting bracket, tools, and hardware
Remove the existing light fixture or old fan
Inspect wiring and ceiling box condition
Install the fan-rated mounting bracket
Assemble the fan motor, downrod, and canopy as needed
Connect the wiring: live, neutral, ground, and any light/fan control wires
Secure wire connections with wire nuts
Attach the fan motor to the mounting bracket
Install the blades
Install the light kit if included
Attach the canopy and cover all wiring
Restore power at the breaker
Test the fan speeds, light, and direction
Tighten any loose screws after testing
