Open the Facebook app or website
Search for the person you want to follow
Open their profile
Click or tap Follow
If you already sent a friend request, wait for them to accept or choose Follow if available
If the Follow button is not visible, check their privacy settings or use the Friends button menu
To follow public posts from a friend, go to their profile and select Follow from the options menu
