How To Force Rename User Folder?

Sign in with a different administrator account

Open File Explorer and go to `C:Users`

Rename the target user folder to the new name

Open Registry Editor

Go to `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionProfileList`

Find the SID key for the user account

Edit `ProfileImagePath` to the new folder path

Close Registry Editor

Open Command Prompt as administrator

Run `net user /active:yes` if needed

Restart the computer

Sign in to the renamed user account

If the profile fails to load, create a new admin account and repeat the steps from Safe Mode
