Press Command + Option + Esc
Select the frozen application
Click Force Quit
If needed, click Force Quit again to confirm
Open Activity Monitor from Applications > Utilities
Find the application process
Select it and click the X button
Choose Force Quit
If the app is unresponsive, click the Apple menu
Hold the Option key
Select Force Quit from the menu
If necessary, restart your Mac
