Open WhatsApp
Tap the three dots menu on Android or Settings on iPhone
Go to Chats
Tap Chat backup
Choose Back up to Google Drive on Android or Auto Backup on iPhone
Select the backup frequency
Choose the Google account on Android
Decide whether to include videos
Tap Back Up Now
Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi and signed in to the correct account
Wait for the backup to complete
